Program Achieve
Program Achieve aims to develop the following:
Persistence – not being distracted, finishing work, not giving up, displaying an “I can do it” attitude
Getting along – turn taking, sharing, working well with others, talking through problems, displaying a ‘think first’ attitude
Confidence – participating in class discussions, speaks clearly, attempting new tasks, displaying an “I can do it” attitude
Organisation – following class routines such as bringing diary, homework book and readers every day, getting started on work quickly, listening to instructions and making sure that they make sense, goal setting.
Emotional Resilience – means not getting too upset when something negative happens, as well as knowing how to calm down and feel better.
