Reading

We do lots of reading at this stage. Not only are readers sent home regularly for you to read with your child, we also hear children read these at school. Children are also involved in reading groups where they may read books, poems or be involved in reading activities like games and computer activities. This is in addition to the incidental reading that occurs throughout the day as we read signs, rosters, timetables etc together. We also read while we are learning about other subject areas, particularly in PYP units of inquiry.
