Multisensory approach
A multi-sensory approach encourages permanent sound-symbol associations.
They see it, they hear it, they say it, and they write it.

- Spell it out loud. Now spell it again and write it in the air with your eyes shut.
- Cover the word.
- Say and spell the word from memory.
- Write the word. Spell it out loud as you do this.
- Check the spelling. Spell it out loud as you do this.
