Towards the end of last term we spent a few sessions investigating different ways to learn how to spell words.

This term, the only spelling homework is to spend 10 minutes each night learning the spelling of list words. Children should also read for about ten minutes each night and spend 10 minutes doing something to do with maths – Study Ladder, Prodigy, learning times tables…

You can support your child by testing them on their list words a few times each week, to see if the strategies they are using to learn their words are working.
