Visit the National Geographic site for over 20 online atlas jigsaws
Atlas Puzzles

Check out Sweet Search – a search engine for students that searches only the sites that have been reviewed and approved by a team of librarians, teachers, and research experts.

Try building a collage of your year in review. Use online sites like Picassa or masher to automatically create a collage of your favourite photos, or use Publisher or PowerPoint to do it yourself.

Zimmer Twins is a great site for making simple animated video stories. you can create your own story or use one of the ‘cliff hanger’ starters. You simply drag and drop to select characters, settings, actions and emotions. You can also type into the conversation bubbles.

A lot of the students in our class seem fascinated with these at the moment.

They may enjoy these webs. Of course I recommend that you visit these sites with your child to ensure that the content is appropriate for them.
